                1. Birthplace?  Pukekohe, New Zealand. (Where all the motor racing is)

                2. Year joined the band?  February, 2004.

                3. Instrument?  Premier HTS 200,.

                4. Other bands played with?  Collie Police and Citizens Pipe Band, Taupo and Districts Pipe Band NZ, 
                                                                  WA Irish Pipe Band, City of Cockburn Pipe Band (Drum Sergeant).

                5. Major band achievements?   Various solo titles including a Central North Island NZ title. Various wins with
                                                                     WA Irish Pipe Band and Coastal Scottish Pipe Band. 
                                                                     Creating a library and website for the band.  Playing for various Bon Scott events.  
                                                                     Most recently winning the 2007 New Zealand Pipe Band Championships,  being part of the  
                                                                     winning team in the Grade 3 and 4 WA Pipe Band Championships (2007), playing and winning in
                                                                     Open Snare and winning the Composition Contest at the 2007 Rockingham piping and drumming Contest.

                6. Musical influences?   Early on in life Maori music was a huge influence with it's strong cultural lyrics and beat.   
                                                         I love ABBA  and anything with great acoustics (the old fashioned raw stuff without
                                                         computer enhancements.) With drumming, Alan Wallace, Jim Kilpatrick,  Alex Duthart
                                                         and most of the top Grade 1 solo drummers.
                                                                   
                             
                                                                                                     
 
                7. Favourite pipe band/s?   House of Edgar Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band,  Vale of Atholl Pipe Band,
                                                               Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band and Manuwatu Pipe Band, NZ and Red Hot Chilli Pipers
                                                               - I will listen to anyone who can come up with an original, modern approach to Pipe Bands today.

                8. Favourite pipe tune/s?  Calypso Piper, Sandy’s New Chanter, The Drummers Dream, Maureen and her Scooter, 
                                                              The Dawning of the Day and The Boiled Egg Jig.

                9. Favourite movie/s?  Tomb Raider 1 & 2, Braveheart, any Bond/Bourne movie and Wallace and Gromit.

                10. Favourite TV show/s?  CSI (all of them) McLeods Daughters and Outragious Fortune.

                11. Favourite saying? "Yep, no worries".

                12. Goals?   To exceed with our  drum corp.  To play at Grade One Solo level.
                                     To compose and play my own music more.
