Coastals practice in the Belmont area once a week.
EXPERIENCED pipers and drummers are welcome.
Anyone wishing to continue their piping or drumming with an enthusiastic band may apply to our Pipe Major or Drum Sergeant.
LEARNERS are accepted from 9 years through to 19 years of age. No experience necessary. Learners must be keen and committed.
Learning the ancient skill of bagpiping can be both challenging and rewarding. With dedication, a practice chanter and a good tutor you can progress to any level you desire.
Learning the art of pipe band drumming requires a practice drum pad and a pair of pipe band drum sticks. The skill of drumming whether it be snare, tenor or bass can again be very challenging and rewarding and with lots of practice and dedication you can also progress to any level you desire.
Consideration may be given outside this age range on application.
